RESTORATIVE YOGA COURSE FOR WOMEN - 8 WEEK COURSE
Dates: Oct 15th to Dec 3rd
Day and Time: Thursdays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Location: The Theosophy Hall
Teachers: Caroline and Machel (teaching alternate weeks)
Cost of Course: $120 ($15 per class)
Casual rate: $20 per class
This course has been specifically designed for women :)
The 8 weeks of Restorative Yoga will be a healing balm for tired and overwhelmed women. Each week, you will benefit from a class of mixed gentle and restorative yoga, along with specific breathing practices to help sooth your nervous system. You will leave the class feeling calmer and more relaxed. You will also learn some yogic skills and supportive practices, particularly relevant to some of the challenges that us women face. There will be some handouts as a follow up to theory covered in class.
The course will assist women to become more aware and better equipped to deal with life's challenges.
Some of these themes will be around quietening the mind and choosing what you want to focus on, practicing mindfulness as we move towards the potential chaos of Christmas, developing a healthy exercise and sleep pattern, dealing with hormonal changes.....
Some of the sessions will include extended meditations of Yoga Nidra or IREST. This Course will be run by Caroline and Machel. Both Machel and Caroline have recently trained in “Yoga for Mental Health”. The content of this extensive study will be weaved through this course, enabling yogis to feel safe and supported.
Attendance: This is a course and so we would love for you to be able to attend the 8 weeks of the Course, and we have priced the course to encourage this ;)
However, each week is a stand alone class on a specific theme so if you would prefer to come along casually, there will also be a casual option (unless it is full). The Course rate is $120 ($15 per session) and the casual rate is $20 per class.
