Workshop 2:
This workshop will be another stand-alone workshop, but if you can do workshop 1 first, you will gain even more information from this workshop, and hugely expand your knowledge about the vital breath.
The objective of this workshop is to learn strategies specifically related to reducing stress and anxiety. You will learn how your breathing pattern affects your mental and emotional well-being and how we can have more control over our stress levels by improving our breathing patterns. You will learn strategies and practices that will help you to slow down your breathing and switch on the parasympathetic nervous system, your calm and relaxing branch of the nervous system.
Workshop Format: This is not a yoga class. This is a seated workshop with a power point presentation, group practical investigations of breathing patterns that promote a happier and healthier disposition, ways that we can take control of our emotions and reactions through our breath and strategies to being calmer in your daily life.
There will be a break for morning tea about midway through the workshop, with refreshments to suit all dietary needs.
